What You’ll Be Doing
As a Security Engineer at Accenture, you won’t just be monitoring systems—you’ll be actively analyzing, detecting, and helping mitigate real-time threats across global client environments.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Monitoring and analyzing security logs, traffic, and alerts from multiple devices and technologies.
- Responding to client requests related to detection tuning, capability enhancement, and reporting.
- Researching new threats and recommending improvements for better threat detection.
- Identifying process gaps and suggesting automation or enhancement opportunities.
- Assisting in threat hunting and supporting client investigations.
What You’ll Need

Here’s what Accenture is looking for:
✅ Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network defense, and threat landscape
✅ Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and EDR platforms
✅ Knowledge of SOAR platforms is a plus
✅ Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) preferred
✅ Industry certifications like GCIA, GCFA, CISSP – a big advantage
✅ Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
✅ Flexibility to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment
✅ At least 2 years of experience in SOC operations (preferred but not mandatory)
✅ Must have completed 15 years of full-time education
