Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Use Citi’s Chat platform to address customer service inquiries, ensuring a smooth resolution process.
  • Manage customer issues through chat and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Stay updated with Citi’s product and service offerings to provide accurate assistance.
  • Support account-level maintenance tasks in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Help customers learn to self-service via Citi’s digital platforms.
  • Identify risk areas and provide optimal solutions to customers.
  • Ensure proper information security while handling sensitive client data.
  • Contribute to MIS reporting, timekeeping, and other administrative processes.
  • Assist in internal assignments and projects under the direction of Team Leads/Managers.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver an excellent customer experience (NPS).
  • Minimize operating losses while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree is mandatory; a master’s degree is not required.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in customer support/chat operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proper grammar and tone.
  • Proficient keyboard skills (Typing speed of 30 WPM with 90% accuracy).
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and other productivity tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Professional, courteous attitude with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and work under pressure.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in international customer service or support roles.
  • Experience in chat or email-based processes is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to retail banking operations will be an added benefit.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced operational environment.
